Both events the 8th Eurosummer School on Biorheology & Symposium on Micro and Nano Mechanics and Mechanobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems, will be held at the International Home of Scientists F. Joliot-Curie. The venue is located on 8 kilometers North of Varna.

Location:
International Home of Scientists F. Joliot-Curie is situated in the resort "St. Constantine and Elena". The hotel has 96 double and single rooms and 2 apartments.
Every room has a WC with douche, standard furnishing with two beds, desk, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, balcony. International telephone line is available through the Reception desk.

A main restaurant sitting 200 persons is open for the guests. Five additional restaurant rooms can be put into service as needed and bring the total sitting capacity up to 400 diners. They offer meals ranging from simple dishes to sophisticated menus. The possibilities for food and refreshment include the Lobby bar, a cafe-panorama and a catering service for your cocktails, receptions and meals served in the restaurants or buffet-style in the meeting rooms.

In the main lobby of the Conference Centre or through the chief administrator, the "Fr. Juliot-Curie" Centre of scientists offers all general services essential for the welfare, comfort and safety of the visitor:

  • Change bureau;
  • Information about the nearest post office;
  • Tourist information and reservation (hotels, trips, car-rental, bus, train and plane schedules from Varna, other arrangements);
  • First-aid emergency;
  • Various service offerings such as shops, barbers';

The "Fr. Joliot-Curie" Centre of scientists offers additionally:

  • A medical center with physiotherapy and a mineral water pool in the basement;
  • A beach, open in summer, 80 m from the main building, with open snack-bar, mineral water douche, life-guards.
